Summary of the interviews.

Project group meeting 17/3

In the meeting we summed up all the interviews and came up with a project idea.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We interviewed nine persons between 20-60 using semi-structured interviews. Out of the nine people three were tourists. Two worked at Djurgården and one person lived there, the rest were there sightseeing and visiting different locations.

The main reason people traveled by boat was that it's the fastest commute between Slussen and Djurgården. Most of the people also said they enjoyed the scenery, which also seemed like a big incentive. One person didn't like the trip at all, she thought it was crammed and that people were lunatics.

Most people already knew about the boat trip, and didn't use an app or other service to plan their trip, they simply went to the harbor and took the first boat available. However, some people said that if they had to plan a trip, they would use an app or SL's homepage. One of the tourists got recommended by her friend, and the other tourist found the boat by chance.

The interviewees had almost nothing to complain about, except their comfort aboard. One interviewee said she easily got seasick, two people complained about the benches, some other interviewees said it was cold. The things people wanted also, people wanted music, coffee and a bar.

Based on the thought that most of the people complimented the scenery we have come up with an idea for the project. We figured that if someone would use their phone camera and point it towards a building/landmark they would get information about that specific building. In that way, people can still enjoy the view but also get information and possibly directions to the building/landmarks. We will discuss this idea further.
